You may have zero interest in this, but if you're like me and are always looking for meal ideas (especially during the week) I thought it might be fun and helpful to share a recap of our meals for the week. I thought I'd attempt to post a recap on Monday's of our meal plan from the previous week with notes on how it went; hits, misses, good, the bad and the ugly etc. Please note this is a welcome invitation for your ideas/suggestion etc; I'd love comments with your favorite meals this week too. Let's help each other out!

Because today is pretty much a holiday and Tom Brady is the Goat, I thought it was a great day to share our new favorite morning smoothie. Fueling their bodies like the beloved TB12 is something my boys can all get onboard with. If you've watched the recent Tom vs. Time documentaries like we did, you may have seen Tom making his morning smoothie. When you're boys are enthralled and your husband is on a great health kick, you immediately take note and work on your own version.
Anyone else doing the Whole30? For a few weeks now my husband and I have been doing the Whole30 in hopes or resetting and cleaning up our eating after a crazy end to the year. While it has meant a few more trips to the grocery and a bit more thorough meal planning, my gut health has never felt better and my husband has started loosing weight and is on his way to his goal. While we're working on cleaner meals for everyone in the house, the kids obviously aren't following the restrictions of Whole30. I've been looking for dinner options that work for everyone; here's some recipes that have been a hit in our house so far.
I don't know about you, but I'm always looking for simple recipes to add to our meal rotation. Generally speaking I only cook one meal for everyone, so I'm constantly in search of family friendly and fairly healthy meals we can all enjoy. The easier the better in this crazy house of five (especially during hockey season), so the crock pot is my friend. I thought I'd round up some of the crock pot meals that have been a hit in our house these days, and I'm not so secretly hoping you'll leave me your favorite go-to meals in the comments! 1. Slow Cooker Ribs from Buzzfeed 2. Slow Cooker Chicken Fajitas from Cooking Classy 3. Slower Cooker Beef & Pepper Soup from Paleo Leap 4. Mozzarella-Stuffed Slow Cooker Meatballs 5. Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef from The Recipe Critic 6. Slow Cooker Steak Soup from Plain Chicken Alright, these are some of our favorites now dish on yours! I can't wait to give them all a try. Hopefully we can help each other build our repertoire and add to our meal rotations. Thanks as always for stopping by. xx
