Happy Friday! It was a good week here in Maine, kicked off by an epic win from our beloved New England Patriots. Seriously what a game! We've had two different snow storms with a late start, cancelled activities and a full snow day yesterday. Quiet wouldn't be the right word, but we've enjoyed a lot of "down" time at home this week. We're looking forward to another busy weekend of hockey and more snow! Here's a round-up of some favorites from this wacky week: Monogrammed sherpa pulloverThis is probably my favorite item in my closet right now. So cute, cozy, and easy to wear. Perfect for weekend mornings at the rink and long days chasing my boys. This and so many other cute things are on sale right now at Pink Pineapple Shop! Lots of opportunity for monogramming. Green SmoothiesWe're working to clean up our eating in this house, and I find green smoothies really helpful in keeping everyone on track. I was over on Savvy Sassy Moms the other day sharing one of my favorite refreshing smoothies. It's a great choice for an afternoon pick me up, or anytime when you need to reset and recharge. Check it out here Crock Pot MealsIn the thick of hockey season, Dr's appointments and typical crazy schedules, the crock pot is my friend. I'm always looking for new family friendly recipes to add to our rotation. Check out this roundup of some of our recent favorites. Two Little Beans Co.If you follow along, you know I'm a big fan of Two Little Beans Co. I love shopping local and their products are adorable and well made. I'm obsessed with this adorable anchor raglan top from their new organic line - check it out on their all new website and get free shipping with the code FREESHIP. Tri for a CureI've been looking for a challenge this year - I honestly never thought I'd do a triathlon, but it seems come July I'll be doing the Tri for a Cure (a sprint distance triathlon). I am NOT an experienced swimmer or biker, but I'm looking forward to mixing up my workouts and pushing myself. I'm also looking forward to being a part of something so powerful and raising money for this important cause. Would love any support - check out my fundraising page here. Shout out to my friend Heather of Power and Passion Tri for the inspiration and coaching. Hello FreshNotice a common theme of meals made easy... I've been seeing all the meal subscriptions out there and have been eager to give them a whirl. Someone taking the guesswork out of meal planning and menu creativity, sign me up. Hello Fresh is the first subscription we've tried. I put it first on our list based on reviews, price point and overall ease of recipes. We've received two boxes so far, and am happy to report the four meals were a hit and the prep and dishes were minimal. Stay tuned for a full review on the blog soon. If you're eager to try it now, you can use my referral link for $40 off your first order. www.hellofresh.com/?c=REBECCARS Happy Friday friends. Have a good weekend - enjoy playing in the snow or whatever else you have in store. It looks like another BIG storm is on it's way Sunday night... Thanks as always for stopping by. xx
