TGIF!! Hope you all had a great week. It was a busy and cold one here in Maine, although temps for next week look to be in the 50's (that's Maine for ya). Everyone is healthy this week (knock on wood), despite the crazy temperature fluctuations. We have hockey season coming to a close this week, we're all sad to see it go but excited for Spring! Baby W has been slowly sleeping even longer stretches at night which is a welcomed shift. I'm back with 5 Friday favorites from the week (below), if you missed last week's you can check them out here. Crock Pot Cooking- I'm a morning person, always have been, and I seem to do everything better and more efficiently in the morning, so for me crock pot cooking just makes sense. Dinner time also creeps up quickly (we like to eat early) so with bus stop pick up at 3:45pm and little W's cranky witching "hour" in the evening, having a meal ready to go is really helpful for keeping our family happy and fed. This meatball recipe and this soup recipe have been two of our favorites! Fuller House- OK, raise your hand if you loved TGIF in the 80's and 90's! I'm raising my hand, I loved Full House and you betcha I dove right into Fuller House on Netflix. Might not be "quality" TV but I'm still watching. Perfect background as I'm blogging, doing tax prep, and treadmill running these days. I'm also loving DJ fuller's style. I'm tempted to ask my Stitch Fix stylist for clothes DJ fuller would wear ;-) Happy Baby Wrap- If you follow along, you know I'm a huge fan of babywearing. I love keeping baby close and it's pretty much essential when you've got older kids that need your attention and you need your hands. Wearing baby W helps me get through evening witching hours, grocery shopping trips, and hockey games etc. One of my absolute favorite carriers for the first few months is the Happy Baby Wrap; it's soft and stretchy, and so lightweight and easy to wrap. Hockey! - It's hard not to embrace it and love the game in my house full of hockey boys. It was a busy week of hockey for us! My oldest son had his hockey recognition night on Tuesday, and his final scrimmages will be this weekend. We also cheered on our local high school team on Wednesday (my husband helps coach) and they'll be advancing to the State Finals this Saturday. My boys are over the moon; these high school athletes are their idols! In keeping with the theme we've also been watching a lot of Miracle, I forgot how much I loved that movie! Giveaways- I have fun hosting giveaways on the blog; I love to give you all the opportunity to win quality products (especially for baby). This week I'm giving away a SwaddleSure Adjustable Swaddling Pouch from Halo, check it out here! Be sure to stay tuned to the blog, I have another review and giveaway coming next week, and I'm partnering with my friend Christy of Stained with Style to bring you a BIG giveaway of baby favorites in April! What are you favorites from this week?? Leave a comment, I'd love to hear about them! Thanks as always for stopping by! xx |
