Hard to believe that it's June already, which means Father's Day will be here before you know it! I think most Dads will tell you that a homemade card and a hearty breakfast would make their Father's Day, but if you're looking more ideas to spoil the awesome Dad in your life, keep reading: Turn your kiddos artwork in to treasures Dad will have forever- I love what they do at Formia Design, definitely worth checking out. You can also scan the artwork or take a picture of it and make something fabulous (like framed wall art, a mug, iPhone case, office décor and more) over at Shutterfly. Fill Dad's heart (and belly) with food- maybe with a special breakfast, cookout, lobster bake, or maybe he loves baked goodies, whatever it is, involve the kids in making and serving it and Dad is sure to love it! Indulge him with his favorite hobby- Is Dad a golfer? Maybe gift him a round of golf at a new course, or maybe a special new club is in order from Cleveland Golf. Give him the gift of time- give your guy the afternoon off to do what recharges his batteries, maybe it's golf, surfing, maybe fishing, or simply going for a run (or in my husband's case a boat ride).. and maybe while he's gone surprise him by doing some of his usual chores with the kids. For the Sports Enthusiast - get him tickets to watch his favorite team play For the car enthusiast and/or neat freak- take Dad's car to be professionally detailed (pretty sure anyone would appreciate this) For the new Dad- a daddy friendly carrier like the Boba 4G, a jogging stroller, or how about his own diaper bag from the Diaper Dude. For the dapper Dad- how about a new Maine made bow tie from Snowflower Freckles? Or a new clothing item or accessory of the kids choice :-) For the guy who has everything or loves to try new things- give him an awesome box of your choice or a subscription to Bespoke Post For every guy- All the dads in my life are years overdue for a new wallet if your guy is in the same boat, check out Roque Industries made right here in Maine And if you're looking for something BIG- how about a Go-Pro for the adventurer (my husband loves his), or a Vitamix for the cook? How are you celebrating the Dad(s) in your life? Would love to hear your ideas! Also, be sure to stay tuned for a special Dad's Day Giveaway featuring some of these great items!! Check back soon! xx |
