Many people have asked my thoughts on the Citrus Lane boxes lately. I promise to do a full review soon (when our next box arrives), but in the meantime, here's my quick answer:
First of all if you are not familiar with Citrus Lane, check out their website, but essentially you can sign up for monthly subscriptions for your child (it will be customized based on the info you supply specifically age appropriate) and they will receive a special box each month filled with a sampling of products, snacks, books, toys etc. To get a better idea of what might be in a box, you can put in your child's birth month and year and it will give you a sample list of what might be included, check it out. In my honest opinion these boxes are terrific. Its a great way to explore different brands and give your child a monthly surprise. I have never been disappointed by the brands included in the box; they are always high quality products (often natural/organic) that I would consider buying on my own. Brands include weleda, plan toys, green toys, aden & anais, Melissa & Doug, Happy Family, Skip Hop, awesome books, and the list goes on. I will say though that there is usually a personal care product included especially for baby and while its fun to explore different brands, if you are like me and tend to stick to the same brands that part could fee like a waste. At the end of the day, I personally consider these boxes a luxury not a necessity. I don't buy them on a regular basis for my boys, but do from time to time get a subscription for a special occasion or when I see a great deal. They also make great gifts, especially great ideas for grandparents looking for something special etc.. My boys both have April birthdays, so I'm doing a 3 month subscription for each of them as a special treat. Great timing too because Citrus Lane is having their semi-annual sale! Right now all subscriptions 3months + are 44% off which is a great deal! Check it out over on their website! More to come in terms of a review when we get our next box.. but just my 2 cents! :-) Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Rebecca disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I am an affiliate of Citrus Lane and will get compensated if you purchase through my links (which imam grateful for). BUT that in NO way alters my opinion. I only affiliate with products I love and truly would buy myself. My opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own.
