![]() We're going through a picky eating phase with my 3.5y/o... its our first one so I count myself lucky, but we seem to be going strong with no end in sight...Every night I put our full meal on his plate, and every night the only section touched is usually the meat. When recently asked what foods he likes, he answered "Meatballs, Steak, & lobster." The later two we have covered, so I've recently been investigating new meatball recipes, and different variations to keep things interesting. Here are some favorites we've uncovered. Sweet and Sour Turkey Meatballs- from Against all Grain Against all Grain is one of my favorite resources for new recipes and meal ideas minus the grains :-) This is a great recipe for tomorrow's super bowl! 30 Minute Gluten Free Meatballs- from Our Family Eats A more traditional Italian meatball minus the grains again... Gluten Free Turkey Bacon Meatballs- from Our Family Eats Another variation from Our Family Eats. These are delicious, and a great twist with the bacon! Bacon makes everything good :-) Absolutely the Best Meatballs Ev-er - from Eat Live Blog This is a great/easy traditional meatball recipe- highly recommend combining beef and pork. Veggie Sneak In Meatballs- from AllRecipes.com Let's face it, sometimes you just need to sneak in more veggies... and meatballs (esp. in my house) are a great way to do that. Love this recipe! I also keep a bag of Wolfe's Neck Farm (local) frozen meatballs in my freezer. In a pinch these are great! I either heat them up with red sauce, or throw them in a crock-pot cocktail style... for a super easy cocktail meatballs, add a jar of Stonewall Kitchen's Apple Jalapeno Jelly to a package of Wolfe's Neck Farm Meatballs, and heat up in the crock pot, yum! This is making me hungry! Off to make dinner :-) Happy Weekend Everyone! Rebecca
