Before I sit down to write my goals for the year (yes that post will be coming soon) and list off all the things I want to improve, I've decided to take some time to remember all the good stuff, and truly appreciate all the blessings in this amazing life that is mine! Not going to lie, it's been a tough year, one that tested me emotionally and physically, one that made me question my faith and my continued optimism... But it's also been a year filled with love, laughter, and great accomplishments. I'm so blessed to have my wild boys who are so happy, generally healthy, and full of life, and my husband who is a rock through emotional roller coasters and takes care of our little family. I'm thankful for our great families, loyal friends, our sweet dog, our happy and crazy house, and this amazing place we call home. Here is just a sampling of the good stuff from this year: Spending my birthday in the Florida Keys!! (click her to read about our trip) Throwing the boys a joint skating birthday party in April Launching Mainely Babies - Baby Gear Rentals in May Celebrating the 4th of July weekend at a dear friend's wedding with eight of my closest friends from my hometown (click here to read about it) Celebrating what would have been our Ellie's 5th birthday by sharing our story and giving back to the NICU at Maine Medical Center (click here to read my post) Watching my 4 year old start hockey and absolutely love it Lots of summer boat rides! Making our own water park and summer fun in the front yard Evening picnics at the beach Successfully creating our own raised beds and growing and enjoying some great fruits and veggies Lots of fun with the boys and friends at the Yarmouth Clam Festival Watching my husband teach our boys about lobstering Taking the boys to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Florida A holiday season filled with love & cheer- I especially loved our Random Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar - so special to find ways to give back with the boys, and watch them learn and show kindness I'm ready to close our 2014, and I'm really looking forward to new year and am excited to see what 2015 has in store. Happiest of New Years to all of you! Thank you as always for stopping by; I hope to see you back here often in the new year. xx
