![]() Let start by saying you can really make anything your Diaper bag... everything from a large tote to an oversized purse...even my regular purses are constantly filled with snacks, diapers, hand sanitizer, clothes, etc... BUT, I will say that bags made with baby in mind are designed better, are laid out specifically for outings with babies and have terrific storage for all your needs; I find it much easier to navigate my day with one. Truthfully I have several diaper/baby bags (shocker I know) and I will NOT stop using any of them when we are done with diapers. There are SO many amazing diaper bags on the market today. Even top designers want in on the baby bag business. There is no way I could possible hit on all of them, but here are some of my favorites below. Keep in mind that diaper bag taste is very personal so definitely check out other styles from these great brands! Also remember that this bag is going to see a lot of changing tables, spills, leaky bottles etc... :-) That's why you will not see a bag on this list over $200...I just don't see the point :-) ![]() Skip Hop Duo- Chevron- $58 Basic function at an affordable price tag Skip Hop is known for making extremely functional, durable, and affordable diapers bags. The Duo is one of their smaller bags. Perfect for outings with one kid. If you're a pack-rat like me, you may want to check out the Duo Double :-) I love the durability, easy to wipe fabric, shoulder strap, and of course the chevron pattern. This bag is also well thought out converting easily from a shoulder bag to a stroller bag; the bag is also equipped with 10 convenient pockets and all magnetic closures. ![]() JJ Cole Satchel- Azure Infinity$69.95 Affordable Elegance This is a very spacious yet stylish bag (I'm really loving this new print). Lots of room for all your baby's/family's necessities; this bag has 11 total pockets (including a bottle pocket), stroller attachments, and also comes with a matching changing pad, and the ever so helpful removable shoulder strap. This is a great bag a reasonable price point. ![]() Ju-Ju-Be B.F.F. Versatile Messenger and Backpack Diaper Bag - Royal Envy $165 Function & Versatility Can be Cute I'm not usually a big back pack person, but there is no denying that they are extremely functional. Ju-Ju Be has found a way to make a cute back pack that also offers lots of versatility. This bag has multiple carrying and storage options to help you stay organized; this bag can be carried using the top handle, over-the-shoulder strap or backpack straps. The bag's lining is protected with an Agion natural treatment which inhibits and reduces the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew, and the outer fabric is treated with Teflon fabric protector, so you can repeal stains and keep it clean which is huge. This is a great bag, but you pay for all the options and features. ![]() Foxy Vida- Blue Denton Chevron Diaper Bag $118 A Little Different & a lot of Style Foxy Vida is not as well known as some of the others on the list, so if uniqueness is important to you, this is a great choice. This is a decent size bag with waterproof interior, 10 pockets, a key clip which I love (I'm always loosing my key) and also comes with a changing pad. The bag can be worn as a cross body or adjusted to a standard shoulder bag. This is a unique and stylish option for a middle of the road price-point, and love that Foxy Vida is designed by a mom!! ![]() Foxy Vida Diaper Clutch Set $59 Pretty & Portable Another great piece from Foxy Vida. You can get the matching chevron with the diaper bag or another fun print like the Azul Lattice in the picture. Sometimes you just need to throw diapers and wipes into your gym bag, running a quick errand, or shopping etc... This is a great little clutch that makes it easy to do that. ![]() Honest Company Collaborative- LAYERXLAYER Utility Tote $195 for non member & $146.25 for members with an active bundle Naturally Stylish & Dependable I'm a huge fan of the Honest Company and their Collaborative offerings are fantastic. This bag is really spacious with lots of pockets and great design features including backpack straps. Naturally dyed fabrics and resilliant and water resistant fabrics, this is a durable yet chic option. Specially designed for the Honest Company, there were only 500 of these bags made. ![]() Pottery Barn- Aquamarine Madison Tote- $89 Classic Style & Extreme Function I love this bag, first for its color (my favorite), and also for the size (I need a lot of space), thoughtful design, and great features. The bag is easily wiped down which is a huge plus. It can be a cross body or shoulder bag, and comes with a great changing pad. Pottery Barn has some terrific options in terms of diaper bags, including the Classic Mom Diaper Bag (which I have and love). But for the price point, and the overall functionality, the Madison Tote is definitely a great find. ![]() Sea Bags- Baby Bag $180 Lots of Function, Character, & Durability for a Price Tag You know I love the nautical motif, and this bag certainly fits the bill. I've had this bag for 4 years and its still going strong. Its easy to wipe, washable, durable, tons of space, and really cute! Down side is that it doesn't close on the top, but a perfect tote for outings. This has been our beach bag, skating bag, swimming bag etc.. Its got lots of function and lots of character but the uniqueness doesn't come cheap. Good news is if you don't see a motif you like they'll customize one for you. Did I mention these bags are made in Maine (love that)! Also, if you have an old sail laying around, trade it in and you'll get one for free. ![]() Petunia Pickle Bottom Wistful Weekender $185 Beautiful BIG Bag for Baby & Beyond I love this bag. I use it as a carry-on and would do so with our with our babies...its well organized and super spacious and not to mention really cute. I have mine in an older navy pattern that shows no dirt at all. Because its so spacious, I've found myself using it for local outings with the kids too. Downside is that the bag doesn't zip just snaps a the top, but I've never had a problem and the interior is easy to wipe, but definitely not water proof. Other fantastic features - it's super lightweight, can be worn cross body or on the shoulder, and it comes with a great wipes case and changing pad. Petunia Pickle Bottom makes fantastic bags (that are so pretty).. definitely check out their full line up. ![]() Timi & Leslie Marie Antoinette Gemstone Collection $169.99 Fantastic Diaper Bag that Doesn't Look Like One At All I am a huge fan of Timi & Leslie Bags. First of all, they are absolutely loaded with features included well thought out design, equipped with a special bottle insulated holder, lots of pockets, key hook, clothes bag (perfect for your change of clothes or to keep the soiled clothes separate), cross body strap, stroller clips, and my favorite feature the matching clutch (that I've used as my wallet for years). The down side of Timi & Leslie bags is that they can be heavy, but this bag is not; it is their lightest at 1.35lbs. The exterior is durable and wipes easy but doesn't remotely look like a diaper bag. The interior is water resistant, but I wouldn't say water proof. This is just one of the great bags from Timi & Leslie, definitely explore all their bags. I have the Annette and love it; I promise you I will still continue using it as a purse well beyond diapers. ![]() Storksak Olivia $198 Sensibly Chic for the Spender I hesitated about putting Storksak on the list. Not because they aren't great bags, but because they are really pricey. The Olivia is one of their least expensive bags..(others can run you $400) but I think the Olivia is definitely worth a mention. If you are someone who appreciates the function of a diaper bag, but really doesn't want to carry one, this is a great option if you are willing to spend a little bit more. Its extremely stylish and understated and still has great design with baby in mind. Lots of great pockets, and great features including the bottle holder, cross body strap, great detail with gold hardware, and it comes with a removable vanity bag and changing pad. Great (and great looking) bag if you're willing to pay the price. Lots of great options out there! If you're struggling of which one is right for you, take in to consideration your budget, your lifestyle, who will be carrying the bag (will it just be you?), do you tend to pack a lot? Don't forget that baby will be spitting up, pooping (exploding), spilling, and kids are just plain messy, so I wouldn't stretch your budget on this one...you definitely don't want to have to treat your diaper bag(s) with special care.
What's your favorite diaper bag? I'd love to hear your feedback! Thanks for stopping by! Rebecca

I love my Timi & Leslie Charlie tote. As you mentioned, it has tons of great features and the additional clutch makes it easy just to grab a couple diapers and go. However, it is SO heavy! Once it's loaded with all the necessary gear to leave the house it's just not comfortable to carry around. I have ended using my Coach diaper bag more often, which I really didn't think that I would, simply because it's lighter. Love reading your posts Mainely Mama :)

Thanks for the great feedback Ashley!! I agree that Timi & Leslie bags can be heavy! That's one of the reasons I chose to feature the new Marie Antoinette bag, it's their lightest at just 1.35lbs! Thanks for reading!!

I just ordered the PB Madison tote in navy blue! Im kind of nervous about it because it doesn't look super structured but seems like it would stand up ok and they didnt have any pictures of the inside pockets so im hoping there is a pocket in there I can stash diapers in! Does yours flop over at all? I hate floppy diaper bags lol.

Amanda- I have the Classic mom diaper bag in aqua. I really have been pleased with it... It's fairly floppy, but opens up nice and wide with a flat bottom and I find it easy to access everything etc.. Not a bottomless put like some .. It's such a classic good looking bag.. I hope it works out for you!!

I really want the PB Classic mom diaper bag in aqua, but I am worried that it looks so light it may get dirty easily. Does your aqua bag get dirty easily? Is it easy to clean if it does?

Love this diaper bag and the aqua, it's my favorite color, and it's such a good looking versatile bag! Downside is that this fabric in this light color does get dirty easily ...no denying it.. It's fairly easy to spot clean though and I've had pretty good luck getting spots out.. But after a few years and many plane rides it's starting to look a little dingy ... The navy is def more practical ... I picked color over practicality and I'm not sorry, but I will likely have to retire my bag soon.. Let me know if you have any specific questions!

HI Olivia! The Classic Bag exterior is most def. not waterproof.. the interior can be wiped clean pretty easily and fairly water resistant.. i.e. if your water bottle leaks etc.. I wouldn't say its waterproof, but the Madison Tote is def. more water-resistant and likely a bit easier to wipe clean.. the Madison is also 20% off with free shipping right now. Hope that helps a little!
