Local Maine friends (or anyone planning to be in Maine on June 13th & 14th), this one's for you! A fun event with beautiful homes, enviable interior design & décor, great food, and even better for a great cause- sounds like a great time to me! Scarborough Sip & See is part of the Devine Series from Maine Kitchen Tours, and is a self-guided tour featuring kitchens of eleven of Maine’s most architecturally interesting and newly constructed private homes – with craft beer and wine tastings from some of Maine’s best brewers and vintners, yummy food samplings from top local chefs including Virginia from Finest Kind Caterers, serving a lobster bake as seen on Food Network with Bobby flay. Proceeds benefit the Center for Grieving Children, which is such an amazing organization! Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door and can be picked up the day of the tour at Indisco Kitchen & Bath on Route 1 in Scarborough. The event runs from 10am-4pm on both June 13th & 14th. You can see all the details on their website, or find the Divine Series on Facebook. If dad is a design or food enthusiast, this could be a nice treat for him and a good way to kick off Father's Day weekend.
