- Five Four Club - A monthly subscription that sends you $120 worth of clothes for $60 each month. They offer a variety of clothes and what you are sent is based on your style profile. There are no returns or exchanges unless there is a size issue. You can cancel your subscription at any time, or chose to put it on hold any month.
- Trunk Club- This is not a monthly subscription, and is more of a personal styling service. You are matched with a stylist (who remains consistent, which is nice), and you set up Trunk deliveries whenever you are ready. The trunks are set based on your style profile, and conversations with your stylist. The clothes offered through trunk club are high end and the prices are what you'd expect to pay at a premium store. You won't find many items (other than t-shirts) for under $100. But the great thing is that communication with your stylist is frequent and a breeze. You can try all the items on at home, and tell them what you want to keep within 10 days. You only pay for what you keep.
- Grover & Friends- Offers the basics, staples/favorite clothing and accessories and incorporates a surprise theme in each month's box. Cost is $49/month subscription but note you can cancel at anytime, you'll also get a discount if you commit to 6+months. Note there are no returns or exchanges with this.
- Bombfell- Offers a variety of clothes for all different occasions. It's a monthly subscription with no styling fee and you can cancel at anytime. Average price per item is $69, but you can give your stylist your budget. You have 10 days to decide what you want to keep, and you only have to pay for those items. Other items can be returned with a prepaid label. You also get to preview your box via email, and have a couple days to review it and decide to skip a month or change out items before they are shipped.
So far my husband has only tried Trunk Club. He found the stylist to be friendly and helpful, and the process pretty painless. He was pleased with the items in his trunk but will definitely only be keeping a few with the high price points (although I think I might have finally got him to appreciate good denim!!) I think he would likely try another trunk if he had an event coming up, or if he was looking for a few nice items to change up his wardrobe. But maybe I'll get him on here to do a full review :-) Because he doesn't have to look nice for work, and is really just looking for everyday after work basics, I'm eager to have him try a box at a lower price point.
Anyway, good things to look into/consider for the non-shopper dad! Would love to here if you or the dad in your life has tried any of these boxes or others!
Happy Sunday everyone, have a great week!
Thanks as always for stopping by!
