Happy Thursday Everyone!! Hope you're having a good week! I'm feeling a little tired and sniffly today for the first time this winter, so I'm loading up today with antioxidants. :-) Today I made a Blue Rass Antioxidant Smoothie creation for some pep in my step.
Blue Rass Antioxidant Smoothie
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen rasberries
2 cups loosely packed spinach
1/3 cup raw walnuts
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 cup non-dairy milk (I used coconut milk)
1 cup coconut water
**if using fresh fruit add ice to preference (I use 1 cup)
Put all the ingredients in your Vitamix or high speed blender and blend until smooth. If you're using a standard blender, mix your greens and liquid first and then add in the rest of your ingredients for a smoother texture.
