Chia Power Smoothie/Breakfast
1 15oz can of organic coconut milk
1/4 cup coconut water (feel free to add more if you want a more drinkable consistency)
1/2 raw chia seeds (feel free to use less or more for desired consistency)
1 teaspoon real vanilla extract
2-3 tablespoons of real grade B maple syrup
1 tablespoon shredded raw coconut
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
pinch of sea salt
1 teaspoon of cinnamon + 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice (perfect for fall & winter)
1 tablespoon of raw cocoa powder
I like adding a scoop of USANA Nutrimeal
Put all your ingredients in your Vitamix or high speed blender and mix until smooth (it won't take long). Either serve immediately, chill in the fridge, or make at night and serve in the morning.
1/2 cup (or desired amount) of raw nuts- walnuts or almonds are great with this
fresh berry toppings of your choice
dried fruit such as cranberries, raisins etc..
