I'm working on a review of a fantastic diaper bag (stay tuned this week for more on that), and it got me thinking about what I carry around in my bag. My diaper bag/baby bag/mom bag, (call it what you want) comes with me daily in my travels. I only carry one bag, whether I have the kids with me or not, so my bag needs to match my style but also needs to have room for everything and be well stocked for all of us! :-) Here's a peak at what you'll typically find in my bag (keep in mind my boys are almost 2 & 4) :-). The Honest Co. Travel Wipes- my almost 2 year old is still mostly in diapers, and these wipes are great to have on hand for anything from a messy diaper to sticky hands. These are plant based wipes (free from alcohol, parabens, chlorine) and they are my favorite. The travel packs are thin and the perfect size to keep in your bag. The Honest Co. Anchors & Stripes print diapers - For my little guy is still mostly in diapers .. I make sure to always have our favorite diapers in my bag. These diapers are super absorbent and free of chlorine and additives, perfect on my little guys sensitive skin, and you know I love anchors :-) Grocery bag- I always have a plastic grocery bag stuffed in my bag... just in case of a messy diaper etc.. :-) The Honest Co. Hand Sanitizer- I love this spray! Its quick and easy and doesn't leave a yucky residue...its super easy to get the kids hands germ free and best of all no harsh chemicals. Kids Snacks- You will always find a variety of kids snacks in my bag! Usually you'll find these GoGo squeeze organic apple sauce packs, boxes of raisins, and bars of some sort. Klean Kanteen Kids Sports Bottle- You will always find at least one water bottle for the kids in my bag and usually the Klean Kanteen. Mom Snacks- I typically have a snack on hand for myself at all times too :-) Usually a lara bar or trail mix I've made etc. A water bottle for me- Yes, I realize this is plastic, its a habit I need to break. I need to get a Klean Kanteen or similar for myself! Nonetheless, you will currently find at least one Poland Spring Bottle in my bag. :-) Trains/trucks/toys- As a mom of 2 toddler boys I travel with trains, and often other little trucks or toys. You never know when you'll need entertainment. Ziploc bag of crayons & a small note pad- my little guy loves to color and my older guy loves to practice writing, so I always keep these in my bag. I use a Ziploc bag because its easy to use and easy to see in my bag. Small books, activity books, or stickers etc..- I typically will have a book or two or some small activity books or sticker books that are light weight and easy to carry Carmex- I have a problem/obsession will lip glosses, so I won't even name all the ones you'll find in my bag, but Carmex is my go to right now before any gloss in these harsh Maine winters. Weleda Baby Cream (travel size)- I'm a big fan of Weleda products and especially the baby cream. I keep a travel size in my bag as I find it works for everything...diaper rashes, eczema spots, mom's dry hands etc :-) Diazepam- Yes, I realize this is a weird one... but in full disclosure of the contents of my bag, you will always find these Diazepam rectal suppositories in my bag just in case my son has a seizure episode. I carry them in hopes of never needing them but always wanting to be prepared... timi&leslie clutch- I haven't had a "wallet" since I started using timi&leslie bags. I love the small clutch bags that come with their diaper bags, and use them as my everyday wallet for cards, cash, lip glosses and everything in between. Well there you have it...there's a glimpse into the contents of my bag :-) What would we find in your bag? What are you must haves?
Thanks as always for stopping by! Rebecca
