**If you’re going to the places above with the kids for dinner, you’re probably already thinking this, but I highly recommend hitting these places early.

Bruce’s Burritos, Yarmouth (very low-key but delicious for lunch & dinner)
Big Sky Bakery, Portland (breakfast & lunch, has play area)
Salvage BBQ, Portland - (lunch & dinner)
The lobster shack, Cape Elizabeth (seasonal - lunch & dinner)
Peachy’s Smoothie Café, Yarmouth (juices, smoothies,& soups, great old fashion truck display next door & park across the street)
Edna & Lucy’s, Pownal (this is a bit of a hike from Portland, but a great spot to hit in
conjunction with a hike and playground trip at Bradbury Mountain open thru late afternoon)
Doc's Café- Cumberland (early breakfast, lunch closes 4 on the weekend 6 on weeknights)
