I love doing these Friday fives. Its fun to share my favorites and always good to spend some time revisiting and reflective on the positives. I also like the accountability of a weekly visit to the blog regardless. So today is Sunday, and I'm two days late, but I'm back with my "Friday Five." This week life happened. When I had carved out an evening of blogging after the boys bedtime, I ended up taking my oldest to quick care. The boy who never gets sick was down and out with Strep throat and bronchitis. A little hectic, but this week flew by. I'm still busy working on project purge (cleaning out our house room by room), we have too much stuff. It was our first full week off from hockey but the boys have been playing hours of street hockey outside, practicing with their new lacrosse sticks, taking swimming lessons, and busy being kids. Here's five of my favorites from this busy week:
Stitch Fix Shoes- In case you haven't heard the good news, Stitch Fix is now offering shoes! I'm so excited to see what they'll send me this Spring and Summer. You know how I love and depend on Stitch Fix to keep me styled. More details about the shoes and my latest fix HERE.
Nickel & Suede Earrings- I'm a big fan of the leather earrings from Nickel & Suede; I have several pairs in different colors. They are so cute, versatile (easy to dress up or down) and comfortable (they're so light weight and don't hurt if baby pulls on them). These three are my favorites for Spring; can't wait to see what new colors N&S launches this year.
Bunny Bark- How cute and delicious is this Bunny Bark? The boys and I made it this weekend (our bark pictured above), and its a super easy and yummy treat to make with the kiddos and have on hand for Easter. My friends the Magnolia Mamas gave be this great idea- you can find their recipe over on Savvy Sassy Moms.
LuLaRoe- Where have I been? I just discovered LuLaRoe you guys and I love it! The clothes are super soft and comfy and perfect for everyday. They have great shirts, tunics, dresses, and leggings (pictured above) that you can pair with what you already have in your closet for some cute and easy looks. I also like that it's a family owned business and you shop through independent consultants love support women in business. I've found some great local ladies in my area, many WAH moms.
Me Time- I am a much better mother when I am feeling my best and part of that is taking care myself with a little me-time. These days is harder to come by and it often involves getting up earlier, pumping, and carefully arranging childcare, but it's 100% worth it. This week I was able to squeeze in my favorite early morning exercise class, a couple runs, a special treat birthday pedicure (Tuesday was my birthday), and a much needed haircut. Despite the craziness of the week (sick kids, diving back into some work etc..) I'm feeling recharged.
Hope everyone had a great week and is enjoying the weekend!! We've had some great weather in Maine but snow predicted tomorrow!! Thanks as always for stopping by!
