I LOVE granola, but I don't always love all the ingredients you find in store bought. I find it's one of those things that just tastes SO much better homemade, and I love being able to decide what goes in it. I typically make a batch (or 2) over the weekend and have plenty for the week ahead. Note that it keeps well in mason jars. Here is my easy, healthy, and yummy recipe for our go to granola. Be creative with the combination of nuts, seeds, & dried fruit.
This granola also makes a great small holiday gift for neighbors, friends, or as a hostess gift. Simply fill a large mason jar and get some festive ribbon and make a cute tag to list the ingredients (especially important with the nuts). More to come on "neighbor gifts" soon. Stay tuned!
Hope you like it! Experiment with your favorite fruit and nut combos and report back!
